fixer-upper, to stop listing off these external validation
milestones, anything I might have been doing in order to appear
"acceptable."
Recently, I read one of the nine
billion made-up internet statistics: that 8% of resolutions are kept.
They didn't like 8%, but I think it's great. If you tried to do 100
things, maybe dozens you'd know right away were bad ideas and not
worth pursuing. You might be very happy with eight.

I carry EFAC #2 in my bag so I can pull it out and read Filth's quote any time I need to "remember, cthulhu is actually a shrinking violet who cringes every single time you experience joy. make him suffer!"
